misuse and abuse ASPEC EXECUTIVE REJECTS INTERFERENCE OF TICKETS TO ENDORSE IN FAVOR

Bill seeks to delete endorsement of airfares that favors consumers. Union president says he draws attention to Government's concern for businesses.

The Peruvian Association of Consumers and Users (Aspec) argued against the initiative submitted by the Executive to Congress that seeks to eliminate the freedom to endorse and postponement air ticket and that this proposal directly affect the economic interests of consumers because it means the loss of the ticket value and paid by them to an airline.

Crisólogo Cáceres, Aspec president, expressed surprise at the insistence of the Executive Council sent the project to "urgent."

"Particularly striking is the constant intervention of the executive in a business and market issue when it is assumed that, as demanded by the entrepreneurs themselves, the government should not meddle in the affairs of individuals," he said.
